The cost of homeownership keeps getting higher. Insurance and property taxes are soaring.
Requires secure, long lasting federal fixing.
“Big Money” and special interests are too often calling the shots.
Bickering in the U.S. Senate is impeding progress. Washington needs civility and reasonable cooperation.
Reform and regulations are needed to avoid another bubble & bust of the U.S. Economy.

SERIOUS PROBLEMS CALL FOR BOLD SOLUTIONS
SOME SOLUTIONS FOR THE U.S. SENATE:
The U.S. Senate needs a New Florida Senator with practical experience, vision, integrity and the courage to fight for reasoned solutions.
My number one priority will be to get people back to work. I will champion job programs geared towards small business.
I have always been a vigorous opponent of off-shore oil drilling. Big Oil is pushing to drill off Florida’s Gulf and also the Atlantic Coast. I will aggressively oppose such a measure as a member of the United States Senate. I will fight for a carbon-free future for Everglades restoration.
America is a nation of immigrants and its strength comes from the diversity of its people. I will tackle the issue of illegal immigration and lead the battle for reasonable reform that is both humane and secures our borders.
Social Security and Medicare are a part of the fabric of American life and must be protected. I will be your voice for senior issues in the Senate.
We need civil dialogue to create better public policy. Florida needs a U.S. Senator with practical experience, vision, integrity and the courage to fight for reasoned solutions.
We are now a super donor state, giving Washington more then we get. Florida must get its fair share of the federal funds.
Promote visitors and tourism. We must also diversify Florida’s economy; energy, biotech, nanotechnology, health and transportation.
Foreign trade partnerships, especially with the 500 million people of the Caribbean and Latin America.
Repair and build-up, especially in transportation and Florida ports. Florida must be in the forefront of high-speed rail and intercity commuter rail.
Education reform and initiatives, early learning, K-12, community colleges, state universities, transfer of knowledge.
